Currently owned and operated by Ariel and Hunter Kinch,
Brandywine is located in Chesterfield County, VA and offers riding lessons to students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. Brandywine Farms has been family owned and operated for two generations since it was founded in 1994. We are located on 75 acres between Lake Chesdin and Pocohantas State Park. Since its establishment, Brandywine has been offering riding lessons, leasing and sale opportunities, and competing in local and rated shows.
Ariel Kinch
Owner/Trainer
The riding program is under the instruction of Ariel Kinch who, partnered with her husband Hunter, owns and manages Brandywine. Ariel has been riding and showing for over 20 years in the hunter and jumper circuit and is frequently attending higher level instruction and clinics with upper level competitors in all disciplines to maintain a consistent learning environment and progress her clients effectively with their own training.
Academically, Ariel has an Associates in Applied Sciences as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She worked in the physical therapy field for almost a decade in multiple settings before dedicating full time to the horse industry. In that time she gained an wealth of knowledge in biomechanics and is dedicated to educating riders on body awareness and establishing superb balance in the saddle while gaining strength and improving the ability to work with their equine partner to reach their own goals.

Our Farm includes the following amenities:
1. Large lighted outdoor arena with auto sprinklers
2. Indoor arena
3. 4 stall main barn with feed and tack rooms
4. 11 stall barn with a wash stall
5. Trailer parking for boarders or trailer ins
6. 0ver 40 acres of trails with cross country jumps
